I would suspect that that is the main problem with the sawblade…you don’t clean it near enough. I have 3 WWIIs, and I clean my about every week or so, depending on how much lumber I cut…. 2-3 months is too long to go between cleanings…you will have a pitch build-up deluxe, and that’s what’s causing you to get burns and saw marks….. I have mine for a bout 2 years also, and have never sent it back to Forrest for sharping, yet….But it’s due. Clean the blades more often and see if that will help…Keeping the blade clean will make it stay sharper longer….
