Thanks for bringing Woodworking Magazine back to the front of people’s minds, Ethan. I completely agree. For those who find they value this publication, F+W Publications released a hardbound version last year of ALL the issues since inception. It may still be available and sold for around $40 I believe.

Another excellent book by Chris Schwarz has been released. The subject being Workbenches. This book has been well praised and sells on Amazon for around $20. There is also a site run by Chris himself, Lost Art Press, where you can order a ‘deluxe’ copy that includes a CD containing a fully searchable electronic version of the book (PDF). The disk also has some eDrawings files of a few benches detailed in the book. The deluxe version can be had for $34. I received my copy yesterday and will be diving in this weekend.

Like Ethan, I want to see Woodworking continue as a publication and have no affiliation. When I ordered my book, I received a personal email from Chris Schwarz thanking me AND he signed the book unsolicited. Simply put – good information and good people.
