I think the season on geese should be all year with no limint for a while. We are being overrun with them in the midwest and I’ll bet they are the cause of many slipping accidents- ever see their poop on a grassy hill. In the parks in Illinois and Michigan, all the sidewalks are covered in poop. They are grand looking birds but they are out of control. The same for Comorants who ate most of the walleye population in Michigan’s lower peninusula lakes. They are a neat sounding bird and it is fun to watch them dive while your fishing, but they clean the walleye out of our the lakes. In the UP I found that they shoot 1200 a year on Brevort lake and the walleye are coming back nicely. Wait until they start eating salmon and trout, then the sport fisherman might get the lawmakers to open season on them!!!..That my 2 cents on that….......
