ok, so it is all set up and running, as you can see from the photo the switch is currently on the floor. I will be mounting it to the post next to the saw in the next day or two. The conversion from 3ph to 1ph went easily. I was able to find the proper switch for the saw at a local tool store, they had one sitting on the shelf, who knows how long they had it, it was pretty dusty, but it is all wired up now, and it is a beast! I did end up ordering a new Powermatic fence for it as well, the rails came to me curtesy of craigslist. All in all, I am about $800-900 deep. Again, thanks for all your advice guys, I really do appreciate it.
PS. if anyone knows where I can come up with a cast iron wing for the right side and lives in/near NE Ohio, let me know, I’m looking for one. -- I'm not addicted to buying tools or wood... I can stop any time I want! |
