I sensed a disturbance in the Shopsmith force. My SS shuddered a little. Nice looking shop though.

Not to worry Jack, the SS is not going anywhere. I still need it for everything else it does so well, IE drill press, lathe, horizontal boring, disk sanding. I just needed a table saw with a bigger table and a more accurate arbor. ( I’ve got .020 runout on the SS saw, so it makes a lot of the precision cuts very difficult. It would have cost me about $300.00 all totaled to get the runout fixed with Skip’s double bearing retrofit, and I would still have been dealing with the small table, so the G0771 for $675.00 was pretty much a no-brainer.
