Hey guys, I finally pulled the trigger. I got… None of the above! I found a saw I simply could not pass up. For years I have been wanting this saw and had come to the conclusion that I d not be able to afford one for a very long time. I ended up having to drive four and a half hours there to get it and it took considerably longer to get it home, because my tie downs kept breaking. I managed to pick up a Powermatic 66 for $500. It is currently set up with a 3ph 5HP motor. But I also got a 1ph 5HP Baldor motor as well. The saw has the large Powermatic side extension table, but unfortunately there was no fence or rails included in the deal. Here is a preliminary photo of the saw strapped down to the trailer. I ll make sure I get a few more photos once I ve got it all set up, running, and with a fence. Thanks again for all you input, I appreciate it.
