I got my Craftsman 22116 a few months ago, and have been extremely happy with it. It has a 1.75 hp motor, which is more than sufficient for my needs. The table is large and absolutely flat, and blade and fence alignments were spot on, so assembly and set up were pretty easy. I can’t speak to the other saws you’re considering. I’m not sure whether Steel City’s demise has anything at all to do with parts availability- in my experience Sears has always been pretty good at supporting their products parts line.

As for price, the 22116 lists new through Sears for $1000, and through Sears Outlet for $663.24 (at scattered locations)- you might be able to negotiate a better price than $799 with that info.
