Another option is to use citric acid, which is what I’ve gone to on the recommendation of several other Lumberjocks. You can find a pound of powder for $10 or so and it will make a lot of rust removal solution. The main advantage of Evaporust over citric acid is that you can leave the parts in ER for as log as you want, citric acid will start to etch the metal after too much time.
