I would not be afraid to buy a used bandsaw.
There’s nothing wrong with the old iron.

I recently picked up a Jet 12” for $100.
I have a big bandsaw and for that kind of money its nice to have a smaller one, too.
All I had to do was replace one tire ($12) and one blade block ($4).

I routinely see Delta 14” saws on Craigslist for $2-300.
Here’s an example in my area. Looks like an old Delta.
If a used machine is spinning up and not vibrating, minor stuff like blade guides and tires are a cheap fix.
