I bought a set of their screwdrivers about four years ago. What a joke. I used two of them and the tip of the blades just crumbled or broke. When I go into Lowes now I often take the opportunity to tell the clerks what a mistake they are making by slowly turning Lowe’s into Kobalt Land so far as tools are concerned. I buy a good many tools and I will never give Kobalt another chance. I have some Klein screwdrivers in my shop that are fairly old and looked a little overworked because they have been overworked but so far as utility goes they are just as good as new. The only reason that I bought the Kobalt screwdrivers was that somebody asked me to do them a favor and I didn’t want to go back to my house and get my tool box which would have cost me a half an hour at least.
