I used the Rustolium product in the garage and in the basement shop. The garage stuff worked out just fine, It’s been 4 years now and its starting to come off in places, but that’s pretty much what I expected.

The basement stuff was less than perfect. I put it on as thick as I could and still had a gallon left over. Then, they give you these packages of flakes to sprinkle on the floor for traction. The flakes didn’t stick very well at all. I had to scrub them of with a stiff brush. Even with these flaws, the floor has held up well for 3 years. Looking back, I wouldn’t bother with the flakes in a workshop.

There’s other stuff out there. Some commercial stuff is supposed to be really good, but I have no experience.

Good luck.
