Tell us more about the problem you are having. Is the planer cutting tapered boards? Is the taper side-to-side (across the width of the board). It sounds like you are on the right track adjusting the screw posts. Sometimes one screw post is loose, but it doesn’t sound like that is the case with your machine.
Try using an impact wrench fitted with an allen key. If you don’t have an impact wrench, use a socket wrench for better leverage.
