Upon the realization how short we are on space in our home and with a 2nd on the way, my garage workshop-turned-storage-dump-zone is getting the boot to a shed in the backyard. Somehow my lovely amazing wife sacrificed her garden box i built 2 years ago for my own personal workshop to go in its place. There were some stipulations; had to look like Chip and Joanna’s shed at the Silos in Waco And couldn’t be more than 12×8 because of the mature camellia and japenese plum...

Part 2: "Snow-Day" Gusset Plate Add-On

Well, NOLA froze over and the city shut down til about 10am today, figured I’d go in to the office to get some work done. However, the interwebs went down in the area and the guy who runs our printers helped me cut some gusset plates for the rafters out of some scrap 1/2” sign-grade plywood.I drew up the piece in sketchup which he translated in to Illustrator for the route path Tossed it up on the CNC And voila CNC is woodworking, just a different kind ;)
