Simple mobile phone mounting bracket for tripod, made with cherry

This is a very simple mounting bracket which I made for use in taking movies or photos on the cell phone. First I found a chunk of scrap cherry then recessed and epoxed a nut on one side. Then I just use sticky backed velcro to mount it to the camera. Just make sure you don’t cover the microphone nor the lens. The sticky velcro is easy to remove from the phone when not in use.
