First photo is of my first bowl (right), made of cherry and finished with Myland’s High Friction Polish. My latest bowl (left and subsequent photos) is from a piece of apple I got off a clearance shelf at Woodcraft. It had some voids, so I used epoxy with brown dye to fill them. Finished with Shellawax EEE and Shellawax Polish.
I actually was able to get two bowls out of the apple, and this is the smallest. The other one is holding our TV remotes!
Enjoy!

Nice rounded bowl. The epoxy worked out fine. Good work. I have a few apple logs from last year hoping they will be ready for turning soon.

Nice bowls. Check you neighborhood for some one cutting down a tree and you can find some great wood for green bowl turning. There is a ton of it our there and it goes to the landfill or for firewood and it has all this character, too.
Nice job on all of them!!........................Jim
