50 Cigar humidor made from Sapele with walnut trim. Lined with Spanish cedar. I referenced plans from a Fine Woodworking article.

Instead of a hinged lid, I went with a friction fit. The outside of the humidor is finished with about 10 coats of lacquer and is very smooth. I polished the finish to a semi gloss sheen.

Questions and comments are always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Nice and simple looking design and the combo works well. Is this a veneer piece or solid wood?

Great looking humidor! Now it’s time for a fine Cuban, and a nice glass of Scotch!

Thanks for the comments. It is solid wood, no veneer.
