Another honey-do. Needed to cover up a well casing in the front yard. The base, head and rudder are construction lumber and plywood. The blades are made from red cedar. The upper unit rotates on a lazy-susan. The blades rotate on a steel shaft with pillow blocks. They turn in the slightest breeze. I tell folks that it pumps my water. Some actually believe me!!!
Added four more pics of the spare blade.
WHEN THEY DISCOVER THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE, A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL BE DISAPPOINTED TO DISCOVER THEY ARE NOT IT.
