This is a demo bowl I did for the high school class last year and just got around to finishing it. It is black walnut – 6” dia. and 2” high with a 1/8” wall. It is finished with a clear glaze.
It will go in the display case at school for the next classes to view- kinda to get them interested in turning.
Cheers, Jim

That’s a beautiful walnut bowl Jim, well done sir.
Exceptional finish as well.
Is this the clear glaze that was used?

Good turning Jim. Show and tell for the class. I have a couple cans of that triple glaze I am waiting for that right project to use it on. Looks like it works great.

Nice bowl and great finish Jim, do you buff before you put the clear glaze on?

I love the finish.
Bob.
-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
