I got in some cocobolo and decided to turn some of it since I haven’t spun that in awhile. Turned the crow call then thought it looked lonesome so I turned the locator call. Had a bit of a reaction to the cocobola, not fun, hope it doesn’t get worse I like turning rosewoods.

Crow call? I have not heard of such a thing! The work is beautiful, now doubt, but I’m really interested in the function. Why call crows? I try to drive the noisy [email protected]#$%^s away at every opportunity :-)

Jerry in this case it is used to get a turkey to gobble so you know where he is but some people do hunt crows and they can be used for that. Thanks for taking a look.

Really nice. I’m sure they work as good as they look.

Great looking calls, like those pretty grains on Cocobolo, your finish made them pop.
Have your say...
