This tote and tray set keep beading and jewelry tools and materials together for storage and when in use. It is made of reclaimed mahogany trim, luaun ply and pine dowel. Note that the dowel tool rod had to be relocated as the beading and jewelry tools are smaller than those in the shop.

Galloot, I like the design details here. The handle/side cutout are a well done idea. The center tool tote concept is a good idea as well. The corner joinery was well chosen for this project.

I wonder if internal dividers and a non-spill lid would improve the trays and make them more bead-carrying friendly as they wouldn’t spill when carried sideways. Or, it might let you carry the beads in jars or boxes. Would a rounded board under the handle section make carrying the whole thing more comfortable? I also thought a V shaped storage area above or beneath the rod would add valuable storage for jars or tools. There are lots of nice ideas in your design. Thanks for sharing. Keep boxing and keep posting.

A Friend saw this yesterday and asked “what is that, a wooden toaster?” ....I kind of see it now.
