cigar coffin and cigar tube with two adjustable lengths.
the coffin is made of walnut with watco food safe finish and the tubes are maple with the same finish, the tubes were turned on the lathe and bored out to fit a 50 ring guage cigar up to seven inches in length and with the small end on as small as a four inch robusto.

... nice work. lots of thought here.

and here I thought from the title that you were going to preach about how smoking leads to coffins …. like in the case of a very close friend of mine ( 3 months, if she’s lucky .. she just quite a year ago after smoking for 50+ years ).

Seriously, your box and shell would make a wonderful gift for someone – just not me. :)

Interesting—never have seen a cigar coffin, but yours looks great!

first off sorry to hear about your friends prognosis jroot. second the coffin is what a long cigar(montecristo a) size come in individually , so I figured I would make one that way if I give a cigar to a friend as a gift , it comes in a nice box. plus I just love making boxes of all types.

Great looking boxes! The walnut is gorgeous and the tube is cool. Great job!
