Made this to set in our kitchen to hold the keurig coffee pods instead of the cardboard case they come in..I wanted to make a hexagon shape BUT the WIFE wanted one to hang on the kitchen wall..so decided I could do it both ways and only used half of the hexagon shape and hung it up using french cleats this way if I need to I can remove it if need be.as for the wood type I can’t remember what it is..been setting on the wood rack for some time waiting to be used fur that special project…

Looks good, do you remember what size hole for the k-cups you used?

I used a 1 3/4 forstner bit to cut the hikes forthe coffee pods…...tested the hole size with a round over bit but the pods set in to far…dont know if a 1 1/2 bit would work if you want the round over look…if you decide to make one do some test cuts of iff sizes and router bits to get the look you want..

Cool design, like it, a space saver and it looks great. I bet she loves it. Great job!
Have your say...
