Looking through the shop I found I had a LOT of red oak scrap sitting around, and a coworker who is a single mother to be. I decided that a cradle would be a good way to bless her and to clean out the shop. This is what I came up with. Finished with English Chestnut stain and 4 coats of clear/ blonde shellac for the safety factor of a baby or child maybe putting their mouth on it.

Hope you all like it.

I do like it very much. It may have been scrap wood, bit no small amount of effort. Nice work.

Looks great and well made, I’m sure that Mom-to-be is very happy. Great job!
