I created this shadowbox for a retiring Air Force Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). He wanted two woods that would contrast in color so I decided to use Walnut and Hickory. Each piece is separate (39 in total) and then placed onto a sheet of 1/4” fiberboard before being glued onto the shadowbox cabinet. He mentioned that it may be cool to use some lighting inside since he had seen other projects of mine with this feature. I installed three rows of l.e.d’s as a bonus since the project took longer than expected and he was so patient. I used 5 coats of Danish Oil for the finish. He was overjoyed with the results.

You did an amazing job! I couldn’t be any happier. If anyone needs a great shadow box that is built top quality, call Tyrone. Unreal job and I couldn’t be any happier!
