I customized this idea from a project I saw in ShopNotes. Constructed of hard maple for the doors, and baltic birch for the cabinet. I sized the pigeon holes to fit a bunch of plastic drawers I already had on hand. Includes a swing out hanger for the tool when I’m using the flex shaft. I’m still working on an idea to add a “hard” mount that can hold the rotary tool rigid in either a vertical or horizontal position. Haven’t settled on a design for that part that I’m happy with. Doors have bit holders – left door is for bits with 1/8” shafts, right door is for 3/32” shaft bits.
