Here we have a timber guitar pedal with laser engraved graphics and inlaid mother of pearl …
The box has a sloping front and the inside was CNC routed… also with the slope… Thanks to my friend Justen for writing the G-code …
All that is needed now is the electronics to be finished… but for my part the box is done…
Timber used was Delinnear aka Snake Wood…
Pockets for the inlay were engraved deeper than the other parts of the graphics…
There is a rebate in the base to accept a cover made from the same timber…
Thanks for looking…

Very cool. I would have loved that when I was playing music.

Nice. I like the mother of pearl inlay work. Ties it to the guitar style.

Really cool job. Love the inlay.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
