Large Fillet Board

It’s been a cpl years since I’ve been able to get some shop work in and share. A had a buddy that lives near Charleston, SC and does a good bit of offshore fishing. He asked for a board large enough to secure and fillet sheepshead, red drum, etc. It wound up being 35”x14”. Being wider than my planer some goold old hand planning was in order. A stainless steel insert with a screwable stud was used to spike the tails. Caribbean walnut and maple.
