Here’s a square dish I completed a while back, I had fun turning the tips of the square (they’re a little rough underneath), I sure wish I had my new turning chisel for that part. The wood is spalted maple (ambrosia as well if I’m not mistaken) and I finished it with a few coats of Lee Valley’s French polish lacquer and some bee’s wax for the bottom.
-- -- Measure twice, cut once; why, did the wood grow?

Cool dish! Like the square shape and the beautiful wood. Great turning!
