I wanted a marking knife and being that i just completed my first knife build i thought i would try my hand at making a marking knife. So i grabbed an old reciprocating saw blade and a piece of cedar and made it, it too about 40 minutes to make. The finish is an oil/varnish finish that i mix up. I used 1/4’’ Poplar Dowel for the rivets. I recently have discovered the joy of using a marking knife. This is a great little fun project to make as well as use all the time in the shop, works great!!! thanks for looking :)

Nice – I’ll have to make one too. Thanks for posting.
