I have a show this week and put together a few short boxes these are just part that are going.

The first is a spalted maple body with briar end cap figured walnut sides and paddle.

Second is all cherry with a little spalting in the body.

Last is Rescued mahogany that was used in a shipping pallet from Japan in the late 80s. Sides and paddle are figured walnut

Thanks guys these are pretty plain but I just needed some for this show.

SV I don’t really have a set of written plans. I designed and sell these and each is pretty much handmade. I mill the blanks then cut to size cut that to rough shape then put it all together. Once that is done all shaping, tuning and sanding is done by hand using a belt sander and a palm sander, no C&C stuff in my shop.

Outstanding… The grandson and I are looking forward to April 12th…. He’s been practicing with the old store bought box call…. Which at the age of seven last year, he was in charge of all turkey talking. I’ve never even thought about making one, but will be out there today getting it done….Thanks
