I built hardwood stairs for our home and had some left over oak and cherry. So, I made some small and simple jewelry (or whatever) boxes. I wanted to work on making finger joints and figured this would be a good way to hone my skills a bit. I added some inlay work to the top of the second one shown. These were a lot of fun to build, and not too difficult.

niece boxes, I am drawn to the one with the border inlay. The trays are a special touch.
I wish you had a picture of the hinges and if there are stops, but alas I will not sleep tonight wondering (sigh).

Very nice and clean box, like the woods and those joints and inlays are awesome. Great job!
