Project Information

This is a K-cup holder Lazy Susan I made for my sister for her birthday. I took the example of other Lumberjocks but added my own fruits of the Spirit embellishments. Made out of Red Oak and finished with clear poly.

Top and bottom 5.5" by 5.5" by 1/2" thick
Sides are 4.5" by 10" by 1/4" thick
Routed the edges for a rabbit joint to glue the sides.
I used a 3/8 round-over bit for the top and bottom
I used a 1/4 straight router bit to carve out a dado joint to glue the sides to the top and bottom.
Used a 1 7/8" Forstner bit for the holes.
Used a 3" lazy Susan

I hope she likes it.

This is really nice and looks like a wonderful way for your sister to start her day.

Begs the age old question- Which tastes sweeter, peace or faith?

Hey Steve, I just had to check out some of your other projects after seeing your inlay on the wine bottle holder, and man you do some amazing work! I love the k-cup holder idea, brilliant! Also, your bowls are amazing. I love the purpleheart and cherry bowl, but all of them are real top notch. I'm going to be venturing into bowls one of these days, so I always love looking at what's possible!
