I have just been fooling around making little caricatures. Both carved with knives that I make myself. The figures are about 75mm high and made from scraps lying around my shed. I finished work a few years ago and it great to have the time to do these things. Trouble is I am busier now than when I was working and I don’t get weekends or statutory holidays off.

Another nice one John, You just keep cranking them out. Don’t know how long you have been retired, I went in 2006, and haven’t had a day off yet. Can’t help but wondering, when I had time to go to work.

I am not really producing big amounts at the moment. I have just been posting a few things I have made in the last year or two. Seems a good idea to keep a record of what I have made.
I went to a retirement course before finishing work. I am sure the Guy who ran it had never been retired. He told me I would have plenty of time to do all the things I wanted and to put all my life savings into a finance company that has since gone belly up. Fortunately I didn’t follow his advice.
