You guys know the story. You have this little girl, who just happens to be your niece looking up at you with the biggest blue eyes, blonde hair around 7asking “Grandpa, will you make me furniture for my doll?” As my insides are melting away, as I look down at her not saying a word and i see my lips move and a sound like “Sure, anything for you sweety” escapes and when I am jolted out of my stuper by the happiest scream, I realize I am obligated to make some doll furniture.
So here is my first doll furniture piece which was in “Scrollsaw Magazine, with Dennis Simmons posting the original plans. What is nice about thses plans is that you can make this furniture for any size doll, just enlarge or shrink the plans.
Next, on to “Barbie Size Victorian Doll Bed” project. I don’t even remember saying Yes to that.

One yes covers all projects from then forward. Granddaughter rules.

My daughter gets whatever she wants. Darn her. :-)

Nice work sir.
