I started with a Construction Grade 2 X 4 with a 30” length.  It ‘wound up’ as a wonderful nautilus shell. My first Lumberjocks project.

Minwax Wood Finish Special Walnut 224 (1 coat)
Minwax Wipe-On Poly Clear Satin (2 coats)
Min wax Wipe-On Poly Clear Gloss (1 coat) final coat.

A Steve Garrison Design (Shell)
A Donald B. Fugitt Design (Jig – bandsaw)
Driftwood base on loan from the collection of Jullie Fugitt

DeWalt Scroll Saw / Bosch Blade

Wonderful project! Pretty impressive for a first, like the gorgeous shape and great finish.
