These are my first pens turning myself. The top one is made of Olive wood and the second is a buckeye burl. I am in love with turning now. It has been a real joy this winter to be able to turn as it’s to cold to be in the shop for much longer than it takes to make a pen. Hopefully more projects to come in the future.

Just so you know, this particular woodworking rabbit hole goes all the way down.

Nice work, and a bold choice to work with burl for one of your first pens.

Yes, I’ve noticed this appears to be a very steep mountain I’m sliding down. Very addictive and very quickly hooked.

it is steep, deep and there is no return, but the journey is well worth it – Nice pens BTW

Pretty impressive for your first, both pens look great. The woods are beautiful with awesome finish and great fit.
