Been having fun the last few days working on some “old school” toys. Super simple, super rugged. I used some 3/4 birch ply I had on hand, but a 2×4 would do the trick just as well!

Not on these. Sometimes I make wheels with a hole saw, such as my dachshund and my two different grasshoppers. Someday I’ll learn to sharpen my lathe tools, then learn to use my lathe, and make some of those fancy wheels like I buy! :)_

Excellent! I love this kind of project. You did a fine job. These look fantastic!
