Long time lurker researching lots of different things and getting inspiration for projects. Thanks to this outstanding community for all the inspiration and info!

I got my hands on some purpleheart because I wanted to test my new (to me) Hiatachi CF10 table saw that I picked up on CL for what I believe to be a good deal.

The saw handled it, kinda, I did deal with some burning on the wood, but I’d seen where that is a trait of purpleheart.

The top bottle opener (second pic) was cut on my Craftsman 10 bandsaw to hide the washer and screw, while the bottom was done in the style of Garage Woodworks and finished with danish oil. The pick was cut out on my craftsman bandsaw from scrap.

Thanks for looking.
