Had an extra shell that I made from a round column so decided it should be made into one more of these type boxes. This will probably be the last one at least for awhile. I did a blog on the process but wouldn’t recommend anyone try it at home.
It’s simply just wrapped with veneers (purpleheart, birdseye maple, lacewood) The tricky part is getting the linkage and pivots for the expandable tray in the right positions.
dividers are removable. measures 7” dia. x 14

Jim…Awesomeness is just oozing out of that box/cylinder/work of art. It certainly looks like it was more than a weekend project. What keeps it from rolling? Do you use some hidden legs?
