I built this windmill out of exterior grade plywood and I used pine for the body and tail. I finished it with 3 coats of marine varnish. Each blade is identical and weighed and balanced for optimal rotating in even the high winds in my area ( the Santa Ana winds ) I have made a bunch of windmills but this build has been my favorite so far
If you wold like to check out this windmill working in the wind Http://youtu.be/-WL3MvOb06k

I am interested in HOW you built it. I have a wind tunnel between my neighbour and me. Appreciate if you can get back to me.
