A friend bought this house and cabinet doors were missing on RHS of fridge. I made him new ones from beech wood to match rest of cabinets. The center door is a roll-up tambour door to enclose his microwave. Had stain custom mixed to match rest of woodwork. (Same stain as used on the Counter Top Wine Rack shown elsewhere in “my projects”).

nice match…you can’t even tell from the original doors.

That tambour door for the microwave is interesting. If my clients use the microwave everyday like I do, I try and talk them out of this feature as it ends up staying open all the time. They’re not cheap either. looks good though.

on to the next project!

Fantastic cabinets! Great design and finish, well made and installed especially the tambour door.
