I don’t really have a local source for hardwood in my area so I order most of my wood online. Bell Forest products has a cutting board kit they advertise so I’m getting my cutting board wood from them. Made from walnut, jatoba, maple. I did one glue up using Titebond III and got 2 boards out of it. Dimensions are about 12”x11”x1 1/4 thick. All the edges routed with a 1/8” roundover bit. I always add anti-skid feet to the bottom. Finished with mineral oil and paraffin wax mix. My sisters got these 2.

Nicely done! – My sister just requested a cutting board as well, used Bell Forest for the wood as well.
