Here are three small turning projects that I was asked to make. The birdhouse is made of cherry, hard maple, cherry and bubblegum. The bowl is a natural edge from a wild pear tree. The lidded box is hollow with a hollow lid and turned down to less than 1/8” thick. The birdhouse was sprayed with mimwax high gloss and then buffed. The bowl was finished with Waterlox and buffed on the Beall wheel. The lidded box was finished with triple E, sanded to 600 grit and then finished with a home made concoction.
