I built this as a Christmas Gift for my cousins, they have two dogs and the one they had wasn’t big enough. This was a great project, I was able to get some rough sawn 1×10 cherry from my uncles mill, the legs are scrap cabinet grade Maple I had around the shop. The bowls I picked up at a local discount store and they were perfect, all three in the piece came to about 40 inches. The piece of cherry had a few cracks that I had to break and re-glue to stabilize. I was really happy with the outcome of this project, only took an evening to build and a couple to do the finishing. Nothing better than some crazy cherry grain!

Cool. I made one somewhat similar when I had my Kentucky Red Bone. Long gone now though. Yours is much nicer than mine, as I used simple plywood because it was all I could afford at the time.

It looks great and well crafted. The wood has some pretty grains. Well done!
