This is a carved Santa ornament in basswood. It’s about 5 inches high and 2 inches diameter. The finish is first boiled lindseed oil, then acrylic paints, then a brown Bris Wax for antiquing. The face is the natural color from the lindseed oil with a hint of barn red to rosey the cheeks and lips.

Thanks, Mike. Glad you like it. Did you check out the eyes? See the comma shaped color line? See the black being almost 2/3rds of the white? Just a suggestion. Keep carving. We love seeing it.
