LOL!
Noooo Kimo Sabi! Have you seen the new lone ranger movie with Johnny Depp?
Nice piece. Old meets new. It’s what the Japanese call Wabi Sabi.
Used in the building of the tea house and the utensils for tea ceremony!

Beautiful work! A fiery woodworker with the speed of light, a cloud of saw-dust and a hearty “Hi-yo Silver”

I’d heard the term wabi-sabi before, but had to refresh my memory. Interesting summary on Wikipedia. Turns out it’s one of those things that I kind of already do, but there happens to be a foreign word for it.
Nice work on the cabinet.

No matter what it’s name, it’s a truly beautiful piece.

Wonderful little cabinet! Like the look of the wood, clean lines and the well made joints. Great work!
