My wife crocheted a poncho for her sister for Christmas. I volunteered to make some buttons for it. The buttons are made from two ebony pen blanks I picked up at Lee Valley and then epoxied together. They are sanded to 600 and finished with one coat of poly. Wanted to do more but was very rushed to get them done on time. Big thanks to the lumberjacks community who helped me with my problem of centring them on my lathe.

Wow! Cool buttons, like the ebony. I’m sure they’ll add more charm to your wife’s beautiful craft work. Great job!
Have your say...
