After my Delta lathe died a few weeks ago I had to put down the chisels till I made repairs…
Delta was great and mailed all the necessary parts to me and I made the repair. It was a bit of a challenge but worth it!
So today I turn. And this is the result. A simple Cedar bowl..
It felt great to be back in the saddle again.

Very nice. I especially like the rim detail. Glad the lathe is back in order

Very nice detail and finish. I can’t tell the size from the photo but that is a nice center piece. Good to hear that Delta treated you right.

That is a good looking bowl. I like the wood, grain, shape and finish. Nice job and welcome back to turning.
