I used pocket hole joinery for the frame. Hand cut dovetails for the drawers. The wood (Black walnut, Purple heart, and curly Maple.) Our old nightstand needed to be replaced. I took 8/4 stock and made the legs. I then planed down 4/4 stock and did side and top glue ups. I used light walnut stain and used a Lacquer finish. I planed down purple heart and picture framed the maple fronts. I am pleased with the outcome.

Beautiful wood, and great curves. That will give you joy for many years to come. Nice build!
