Fantastic looking box!

When using the magnetic approach in the past, I ran into issues of the tool getting tiny metal filings all over it – I can’t imagine what that would do to a chisel edge.

I’m guessing you read the thread about magnets and sharpening chisels. Didn’t think of putting magnets under the ferules. On the other hand, one set of chisels has brass ferules, so that won’t work anyway.

I did get a demagnetizer from eBay for a total of $10, including shipping.
